Our research and teaching emphasis are on renewable energy with a focus on hydropower technology such as fluid machinery including operational transients, hydropower plant dynamics, ocean current turbines and tidal current prediction, wave energy and other energy conversion machinery.
The Institute's activities range from issues relevant to industry and general fluid mechanics topics as well as method development.
